The BHO solution enabled Microsoft Bing team to successfully launch its loyalty program. The application was released for consumer and enterprise wide use. The ‘Search Perks!’ consumer solution attracted 250,000 users. The Search@Work Enterprise solution attracted several enterprise customers including a leading bank with over 100,000 employees.
OEM Business Insights is a Business Intelligence solution for Microsoft OEM Division. Using this application, sales and marketing managers analyse large amount of historical sales data downloaded from central databases. The application enables users to make decisions based on custom reports generated from integrated and analysed data. Job Description: We are looking for Software test engineers (STE) with a thorough understanding of Software Development Life Cycle and testing methodologies. Your role includes all technical challenges associated with delivery of fast paced projects. You will work closely with PMs and Developers in requirements and design reviews and be responsible for authoring test scenarios and test data.

Your key result areas as percentage of your overall work items will be:
• Review project requirements (~20%)
o Participate in regular conference calls with onsite and customer team to understand requirements
• Test Case and Test Data authoring (~20%)
o Design and develop extensive test scenarios and test data to validate the application under test
• Application testing (~50%)
o Setup test environment
o Execute test cases, Identifying bugs and working with development team to resolve issues.
o Test Status Reporting
• Training and certifications (~10%)
o Training on Agile Testing
o Clear certifications like CSTE, ISTQB, 70-433, etc.
o Conduct training for new members joining the team
Candidate Profile:
• Bachelors in Engineering (Computers, ECE) from a leading university with first class throughout academics
• Excellent communication, organizational, strong problem solving and debugging skills
• Good exposure to functional testing, regression, database testing, and defect analysis
• Thorough understanding of Software Development and Test Life Cycle
• Proficiency with SQL Server in writing SQL queries and C# is a plus

Experience: 0 to 2 years
