Bsquare Launches TestQuest Pro Version 8.0
Bsquare Corporation has reportedly launched TestQuest (News - Alert) Pro version 8.0, a flexible test automation and management platform, which can be used to test a wide range of devices like mobile, automotive, medical, set-top boxes and other embedded devices and applications.
TestQuest Pro helps companies reduce test cycle time, increase coverage, improve test accuracy and accelerate their time-to-market. The new TestQuest Pro version 8.0 supports BlackBerry (News - Alert), Android and BREW devices, in addition to Windows Mobile, Windows CE, Symbian and feature phones via Bsquare`s Mobile Test Connectivity SDK and the UTS interface. TestQuest Pro, therefore provides the largest range of automated testing platforms for embedded and mobile devices.
According to Chris Rommel, analyst in VDC research`s embedded software and tools practice, the evolution of mobile and embedded device requirements is increasing growth in software code bases. These complex devices will continue to strain the effectiveness of traditional manual testing. This will drive more engineering teams to consider automated testing solutions as a means to maintain quality and time to market.
