Test Analyst for RBS

Candidate should have experience in a Software organisation on testing (Web technologies, Silverlight, Client/ Server).

Experience in automated testing using tools (QTP, Win Runner, Load runner, and other tools) will be preferred.

Should have Agile Methodology Experience

Should be able to contribute individually towards test processes implementation.

Should be conversant with databases and in writing testing queries (e.g. SQL queries).

Understand the application and write test scripts/conditions using a tool (e.g. Test Director & MQC) and its review.

Experience to carry out Test execution, logging of defects, preparation of daily test logs, updating of Requirements Traceability Matrix.

Experience of using tools such as Test Director, Quality Centre for defect management.

Job Description:
Should have hands on experience of the Functional Testing (Manual) along with the Performance Testing knowledge.

Should possess working knowledge of a load & stress testing tools such as load runner.

Understands performance benchmarks and map non functional requirements to test cases.

Understand the application and write test cases/scripts/conditions and its review preferably using a tool (e.g. Test Director).

Ensuring successful execution of allocated testing tasks including testing execution, discussing defects within team / with project team, logging defects in a tool and reporting to Test lead / Test manager, as required.

Ability to lead a small test team for various assignments

Support low test plan execution and its tracking / reporting.

Ability to create various test process documents like test plan, test strategy etc.

This role is expected to provide generic skills in testing across technology / application areas as well as expertise in use of a variety functional and non-functional testing tools Ensure that organization processes are complied with while carrying out testing.

To contribute in development of Technical, Domain knowledge within the testing team. Support process improvement within testing practice.

Test plan development (in line with Test strategy/Program level Test plan), Low level test planning, task allocation/ review, reporting, communication with business / project teams.

Coordinate with Project managers/Project Leads to ensure that testing is completed as per plan including closure of agreed defects.

Ensure regular communication with project team/ Business teams / BA teams.
