This is a pivot role within the Loyalty Lab team at TIBCO at Pune.
This position involves technical and people leadership responsibilities including product and QA/testing improvements.
We are looking for an innovative team player who likes to be technically involved in every aspect of testing and come up with ideas/strategies to improve the quality of the product.
Develop test specifications, test strategies and test plan for Loyalty Lab business line of TIBCO.
Maintains product consistency throughout product cycle, to include the design, define and build phases through quality checkpoints and testing.
Develop and manage quality assurance metrics for performance improvement of all teams.
Lead a team to deliver test cases, test automation, testing including regression, integration.
Interact with development management, developers, product management and clients to understand the product features, timelines and schedule resources and deliveries accordingly.
Hire, mentor, train team members to deliver on the deliverables set.
Architect the test cases, test scenarios, come up with ideas for improving the product
Evaluate and recommend test automation and other test tools, come up with best practices of testing products.
Preferably an engineering graduate / post-graduate with 10-13 years of testing experience of which 4-5 years should be on product testing.
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a role of a technical leader/mentor managing a team of 3-8.
The person should have experience setting-up quality assurance process between an India based offshore team and product/ services group in the US.
Experience starting and growing a team from scratch is definitely a plus.
Knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture concepts, Webservices, automation tools and frameworks, Application Servers (weblogic/websphere/JBoss), Database concepts, Messaging Protocols, Java or .NET programming.
Exposure to leading an enterprise class product typically used by fortune 1000 customers is desirable.
